Mrs. Lindsey Horton is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of South Carolina. She received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. Mrs. Lindsey Horton is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and the South Carolina Mental Health Counselors Association (SCMHCA). Prior to joining MCA, Mrs. Horton worked in private practice and was a member of the Waccamaw Community Mental Health Center Clinical Staff in Conway, South Carolina.  Mrs. Horton has an extensive background in mental health counseling with individuals, families, children and adolescents utilizing a strong focus in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has worked intensively with parents on parenting techniques, psychoeducational interventions, and strategies to implement in the home. She specializes in the dianosis and treatment of closed head injury and stroke, personality disorders, and sexual abuse and sexual offending.
